Sotogrande and Estepona, just off the A-7
The Sotogrande office is in Galerías Paniagua, the shopping and services centre next to the avenue of the same name, in the lower part of the estate. It is a few minutes from the Sotogrande exit of the A-7 motorway, and the complex has free parking for visitors.
Our new Estepona office, in the Atlantic Offices building on Calle Real, serves clients on the western Costa del Sol, from Manilva to Marbella, with direct access from the A-7. If you prefer, either office can hold the meeting by video call.
Meetings are by appointment so that the lawyer who sees you has been able to review in advance any documentation you have sent us. If you need an interpreter for a language other than English or Spanish, please let us know when you book.
Useful documents
What to bring to the first meeting
You do not need to gather all the documentation before getting in touch: we obtain whatever you do not have. It is, however, worth sending the essentials in advance to make the most of the meeting.
- Identity card or passport and, if you have one, your NIE (Spanish foreigner identification number).
- Cadastral reference, Land Registry extract (nota simple) or the exact address of the property.
- The sales listing, accepted offer or reservation or deposit contract (contrato de arras), if one already exists.
- Title deed (escritura pública) and any documentation the seller has provided.
- If you are selling, the title deed of your home and the latest council tax (IBI) and community fee receipts.
- Details of the estate agency involved, if any.
- The mortgage offer or terms, if you are financing the purchase.
- If you are acting on behalf of someone else, the power of attorney that proves your authority.
After getting in touch
What happens after you send your enquiry
All enquiries are handled by a lawyer from the firm, not by an outsourced call centre. These are the three usual steps from the moment we receive your message.
Acknowledgement and initial guidance
A lawyer from the firm reads your message and replies by email or telephone, telling you which checks the transaction requires and which documents you should gather.
Meeting in person or by video call
We arrange an appointment at the office or remotely, in English or in Spanish, to review the documentation and explain the legal position, the risks and the options available.
Written proposal
If you decide to instruct us, you receive a proposal setting out the planned steps, the estimated timescales and the fees. Work begins once you accept it.

International clients
Service in English and at a distance from your own country
You can write to us in English or in Spanish through any of the channels shown. Video call meetings are arranged taking into account the time difference with your country of residence, and documents are exchanged by email or through a secure download link that we provide. When the matter requires a signature in Spain, we explain in advance how to grant a power of attorney in your own country so that the firm can act on your behalf.
Confidentiality
Professional secrecy from the very first contact
All the information you provide, including that relating to enquiries that do not lead to an instruction, is protected by lawyers’ professional secrecy and by data protection legislation. We do not share your data with third parties except where the matter requires it and with your knowledge, and we keep it only for the periods stated in the privacy policy. If you would like a first conversation to be kept off any record, please let us know.
